The elements of a gas-fired power plant for Morocco

Our agency Bovis Escolan was commissioned by one of its clients to store motors and generators for electricity production.

Our client is one of the main players in the energy sector in France.

This storage project concerns the equipment of a future electricity production plant in Morocco, in the desert, near a gas field.

The locally extracted gas will be used to power the engines and generators that will produce electricity to supply the towns and villages in the region.

7 engines of 16 tons and 7 generators of 10 tons were unloaded by means of a self-propelled crane. The equipment was then handled inside our secure warehouses using mouvers and a 15-ton forklift.

Our team specialized in heavy handling and lifting has taken care to properly wedge each element so that storage is done in optimal conditions.
