Relocation of Laboratory Machines

A highly technical relocation operation carried out with precision by our experts, at the heart of a scientific laboratory in Nancy.

Our agency Bovis Rousselot Manutention, located in Ludres near Nancy, recently completed a technical relocation operation within a major scientific laboratory in the city.

The task involved moving several traction machines—heavy and sensitive scientific equipment used for mechanical testing. This type of material requires expert handling and strict procedures due to its precision and high value.

The operation was carried out in tight spaces with significant access constraints. To meet these challenges, our teams implemented an innovative handling methodology, which involved carefully tilting and upright positioning each machine using a lifting gantry and an electric stacker. This ensured total control over the handling forces while preserving the integrity of the equipment and premises.

Nationally Recognized Expertise in the Scientific and Medical Sector

The Bovis Group is a major player in laboratory and research center relocations across France. Every year, we complete the full relocation of around twenty laboratories, as well as the secure transfer of over 25 kilometers of medical records.

Our teams are trained to operate in the most demanding environments:

  • Cleanrooms, operating rooms, sterile or controlled-atmosphere zones

  • Ultra-clean environments meeting Clean Concept standards, especially in the pharmaceutical and semiconductor industries

We manage all stages of the transfer process, from logistical planning to reinstallation according to floorplans, including the secure transport of sensitive equipment, specialized packaging and labeling, site protection, and waste removal in compliance with environmental standards.
