Based in Cournon d’Auvergne near Clermont-Ferrand, Bovis Auvergne has successfully carried out a major industrial relocation within a factory in the automotive sector. This strategic operation involved the complete installation of a new production line aimed at increasing the site’s manufacturing capacity.

A Turnkey Industrial Transfer Under Complex Conditions

This project mobilized all the expertise of our local agency, supported by the transversal skills of the Bovis Group and its dedicated structure, Bovis Transferts. We handled the relocation of heavy and bulky CNC machine tools, often under challenging access conditions.

Our teams used several specialized handling equipment, including:

• Electric mouvers for the precise rolling of equipment,
• Lifting gantries for heavy vertical handling,
• Mini electric cranes for operations in confined spaces,
• High-capacity electric forklifts for indoor movements.

Each step of the industrial relocation was carefully planned by our in-house design and engineering office, specialized in OPC (Scheduling, Management and Coordination). The team carried out the layout planning for each machine on the new production site, taking into account technical constraints and internal logistics flows.
