Our beautiful Bovis Midi Pyrénées agency located in the South-West near Toulouse recently carried out a delicate handling for the replacement of autoclaves for the Figeac hospital center.

This handling service for autoclave replacement took place in several stages for our teams of specialized handlers.

Before being delivered, the new autoclave was deposited in our Toulouse agency where we have a secure storage area of 7900m² which allows us to receive all types of goods and store them before their installation on site.

On the day of delivery of the autoclave (previously placed on a pallet), our teams loaded the autoclave onto our truck equipped with a crane arm and then transported the machine to Figeac.

Preparation for delicate handling on site

In order to carry out this complex handling operation, our handlers manufactured two platforms on site in order to be able to deposit the autoclave. The autoclave was then craned onto the roof terrace using our crane arm.

The machine was finally transported to the inner platform using jack trucks. Our teams of handlers lifted the autoclave to remove the platform and set it up according to our customer's instructions.

Finally, the handling professionals of Bovis Midi Pyrénées cleaned the site, took over the packaging, platforms and equipment necessary for handling in order to leave an impeccable and functional site.

The teams then took care of the recovery of the old autoclave. After handling it and loading it onto our truck equipped with a crane arm, the equipment was transported to a recycling organisation for destruction and WEEE management.
