It is precisely for an industrial transfer service in Brittany that our agency was recently solicited.

Our client, a Breton company specialising in the design of joinery, called on our agency to move its old factory to a new site.

The project included the transfer of the machines as well as the relocation of the spare parts and tools stores.

Preparation

During an initial technical visit, our teams of experts identified both the client's expectations and the specific constraints of the site. This upstream analysis is necessary to implement an appropriate methodology.

The Steps

Due to the large amount of machinery and equipment to be moved, the transfer was carried out over a period of 2 to 3 weeks.

The material was transported in rotation by means of our 19T tailgate van and our Bovis semi-trailer equipped with a removable tarpaulin.

Handling at the new site began with the installation of protection in the unloading area. This initial handling step was carried out using very resistant technical protection plates made of tecamide material.

Due to their weight and large volume, the machines and elements to be installed were transported by means of trolleys with a capacity of 2T and 5T, as well as a Crane Arm truck.

Resources mobilized

This complex move in Brittany was able to be carried out thanks to the expertise of our complex handling specialists.

So for this great operation, we set up a team of 4 handlers for 2 weeks as well as a team of 8 movers specialized in moving heavy administrative equipment for 3 weeks.
