In the autumn of 2024, Tti completed a particularly demanding handling mission by reinstalling the sculptures of the Casa del Labrador, located in the Prince’s Garden at the Royal Palace of Aranjuez. This project, a key part of the complete restoration of this iconic building, stood out for the complexity of its technical challenges.
Tti's involvement began several years ago with the removal of the sculptures, which were carefully packed and secured before being stored safely during the restoration work. This initial phase laid the groundwork for a successful reinstallation, completed in 2024, which required advanced expertise in both heavy and delicate handling techniques.
The distinct challenge of this operation lay in the reinstallation of sculptures often placed at heights, in façade niches, on elevated pedestals, or on cornices within the building. These complex positions required tailored lifting solutions and meticulous coordination.
Using specialized tools such as scaffolding, a crane truck, handling gantries, and stackers, Tti’s teams overcame these challenges. The most delicate task was the installation of sculptures in the façade niches. A crane truck was used to lift the pieces, while a carefully positioned scaffolding tower served as a discharge platform, enabling precise placement of each sculpture.
This project highlights Tti’s expertise in managing the most complex handling operations. Thanks to impeccable technical proficiency and state-of-the-art equipment, Tti ensured the safe manipulation and precise positioning of the sculptures, even in highly constrained environments.
With the reinstallation of the sculptures, the Casa del Labrador has regained its former splendor, while Tti reaffirms its position as a leader in specialized and technical handling.
